Join us Friday, May 16, from 6 – 8pm at our annual, free, PTA-sponsored event to celebrate our wonderful Mighty Mustang community. Activities will include carnival games with prizes, selfie photo station, DJ, inflatable obstacle course, cake walk, and more! The event is open to all WSES students, staff, and families. You’ll be able to purchase your dinner at one of the local food trucks we are bringing in for the event: Uncle Fred's BBQ, Empanadas De Mendoza, Himalayan Soul Foods, and Paradise Ice Cream.

A huge thank you to Meghan Lonergan, the Bingo committee, parent and 6th grade volunteers for another wonderful Bingo Family Fun Night! We were thrilled that the rain (mostly) held off and we could be outside to enjoy our WSES community. Thank you Mr. Koontz for helping with set-up, Mrs. McDaniel for being the Best Bingo Caller, and Mrs. Bell for her help with the raffle! Thanks to Dr. Sheers for donating the "Principal for a Day" prize - we can't wait to see what "rules" the new principal creates.

Join us at Silver Diner at the Springfield Mall on Wednesday, May 21 from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. for our final PTA Dine-Out of the school year! Silver Diner will donate 20% of incremental dine-in and take-out orders to our WSES PTA. The Silver Diner has a marvelous seasonal menu as well as all-time favorites like their incredible pancakes, tuna melt, cheese fries, and milk shakes. They have amazing kids meal options as well as vegetarian, vegan, and halal-friendly choices so there should be food to suit everyone in your group.
As we’ll only be getting a percentage of incremental sales (sales above what is normally expected for a Wednesday in May), we need to pack the Diner—bring your friends and neighbors, encourage your coworkers to stop by, and please make every effort to attend. Please also like and share the event on Facebook, Instagram, etc. We would love to end our 2024-25 fundraising year on a high note and we know we can get there if we all work together. You do not need to remember a code, secret phrase, or handshake to participate this time—you only need to be there and eat yummy food .
In addition to delicious food there will also be balloons (and possibly stickers?) available to make the evening even more fun for our kids. We hope to see everyone out celebrating our wonderful West Springfield Elementary School community and enjoying a festive evening with our families.
